Sunday Sermon (12 July 2009)

Psalm 34:1-10

1 I will extol the Lord at all time; his praise will always be on my lips.

2 My soul will boast in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.

3 Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together.

4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.

5 Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.

6 This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.

7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.

8 Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

9 Fear the Lord, you his saints, for those who fear him lack nothing.

10 The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.

Hope

Everything we build needs strong foundation.

In order to build a strong foundation we need hope-hope that there is a chance of survival, a chance for a future.

By building a strong foundation we can give others hope.

With hope we gain strength.

With hope we gain vision.

With hope we will survive!

By offering hope to those that need it, we can help them to continue to move forward, continue to survive!

You can give hope to one child in need if you become part of our Kids for Christ Mercy Clubs.

Join our KFC Mercy Club today and give hope to one child in need.

James 2: 17 So it is with faith: if it is alone and includes no works, then it is dead.

What is A Servolution?

According to the definition given by Pastor Rizzo Dino, “Servolution is to initiate a complete radical change of a person’s life through simple acts of kindness for the glory of God. God’s kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven. It is a church revolution through serving

Don’t hesitate! The time is now. Start changing your world today! Remember; “You have not lived today until you have done something to help somebody in need who can not pay you back.”

Why serve?
We serve others for several simple reasons.

Jesus did. Because Jesus loved people, He served them to show them that love. Our goal is the same, to serve people so they would also come to know Jesus as their personal Saviour.

The church and its purpose is best expressed outside its walls. We can’t sit inside and wait for the world to come to us. We’ve got to get out in our communities and show people that we care and that there’s a God who wants to heal them.

The United Apostolic Faith Church (Tshwane Region) is responding to that call of servolution. We can make a big difference by caring for the needy children in our communities.
